Doing what you love in a place that you love is as good as it gets. When he’s not in the office, you can find Clifford hiking and skiing in the San Juans or fishing in one of the many beautiful rivers and streams the area.

Clifford was born and raised in Charlotte, North Carolina and after attending the College of Charleston in South Carolina he worked as a trader/broker in Manhattan. After nine years in New York, Clifford took some time off and moved west in 2007 to follow his passion for fly fishing. While visiting some friends in the area he fell in love with the San Juans and moved to Telluride soon after. Clifford purchased West Elk Insurance in Montrose in the fall of 2009 and since purchasing the agency, has renamed it Insurance of the San Juans and opened the Norwood & Telluride offices. He has also redirected the business towards better servicing its clients. Clifford’s number one priority is doing the right thing for his clients and making sure that their needs are met.
